Jim, I've gotta know...you don't have any Batman Returns cereal in the museum do you? To date, it's the only cereal I've ever come to blows over and what I wouldn't give for just one more bowl.

Sorry, Bones...I wasn't even collecting when Batman Returns came out.

What was it like?

It looked like Chex mix, but the chex were chocolate, with Batman, Penguin, Catwoman, and Batmobile marshmallows thrown in. It really was like Heaven in a bowl.

This looks awesome.

Hmmmm...it must have been good. You can buy unopened boxes of Batman cereal on eBay, but unopened boxes of Batman Returns cereal are nowhere to be found.

Two weeks ago, while I was clearing out my storage unit, I discovered two sealed, mint-condition boxes of Batman Returns cereal. I worked on the movie, and a friend has given them to me as a joke. I had forgotten about them. I've never tasted, and never will, so I don't and won't ever know what I'm missing.

That makes me sad just thinking about how they might taste.

Of course, after all this time...

You're not thinking of parting with them are you? :)

BTW, what did you do on the film?

I may hang on to my batty oats for sentimental reasons, or toss 'em on ebay, not that they'll command big bucks.

On BMR, I set up and coordinated what we called the "Bat Shop," the warehouse where the Batman and Catwoman suits were fabricated. We also made the body appliances for Penguin's deformed hands and belly. Good times...
